121media, now known as Phorm and under much critisicm due to their PageSense advertising system, was a digital advertising business, responsible for several pieces of spyware software.
Their software PeopleOnPage was classed as spyware, while their ContextPlus advertising system was distributed as a root kit, called Apropos, which recorded users browsing habits.
