AboutUs is a website directory wiki, with a confusing exlusion policy - while websites are freely included when spidered, their entries cannot be removed. AboutUs is widely considered a useless, non-contributory spam site, with high levels of spam search engine results.
Unlike popular wiki's such as Wikipedia, AboutUs is a for profit website, rather than a charitable organisation.
The AboutUs bot can be blocked by adding the following line in a websites robots.txt file, although there are claims that the AboutUsBot will not follow these instructions.
