Circadian rhythm

A circadian rhythm is a approximately 24-hour cycle present in living beings, affecting a biochemical, physiological or behavioural factors.

Resetting the Circadiam Rhythm

For those whose sleeping patterns tend to cause them to wake late in the day, and sleep in the early hours, the circadian rhythm can often be reset by pushing their sleeping pattern around the clock, reversing their sleep, until they find themselves waking naturally, early in the morning, and feeling appropriately tired in the evening, to sleep at a suitable time. This technique is also often seen to help those who find it difficult to wake from sleep after less than ten to twelve hours.
