Domain name extensions
Domain names have been subdivided by a selection of extensions. These extensions can be further divided in to generic top level domains, gTLDs, and country-code top level domains, ccTLDs.
Generic top level domain names include .com, .net, .info and .biz. Country code level domains include .co.uk and .us.
