Domain seasoning

Domain seasoning is the process of establishing a new domain name, so as to remove it from any potential sandbox, to enter search engine rankings, and, as more advanced seasoning, building up reputation and links.

Domain seasoning can be carried out without actually having a website fully active on the domain name, but just by publishing a holding page on the domain and linking to it, allowing it to be listed in search engines.

The domain seasoning process would be carried out after purchasing a domain, followed by website development, search engine optimsation, and link building.

Domain seasoning is a definition, listed in the search engine optimisation category.
