Link juice
Link juice refers to the reputation that a webpage can pass to another, by use of a link.
Search engines place a great deal of importance on the quality and value of incoming links to a webpage, in order to decide the ranking order of search engine results. Each link can be thought to pass reputation, or juice, to the linked website.
Link juice can be prevented while still linking to a website by using the nofollow tag.
