Nofollow

The nofollow attribute can be added to a link tag, in order to prevent participating search engines from following that link. Nofollow is now supported by all the major search engines - Google, Live, and Yahoo, as well as others. Nofollow prevents a search engine following a link, in order to prevent contributing to a websites incoming link count, reputation, or in the case of Google, PageRank.

The nofollow attribute should be added as: rel="nofollow".
